World’s Successful Surgery of The Heaviest Abdominal Tumour

Dr. K. Sendhil Kumar, Dr. Piyush Patwa, Dr. Shenthil Prabhu, Dr. V. Kandasamy, Dr. N. Anitha of Gateway Clinics and Hospitals, Coimbatore, operated the heaviest abdominal tumour in the world. On December 30, 2017 they operated and removed the largest left ovarian tumour from a 46-years old female patient under general anaesthesia at Gateway Clinics and Hospitals, Coimbatore. The general anaesthetists who took part in the surgery are Dr. K. Sathisha Kumar and Dr. D. Sendhilkumar. The tumour was weighing 33.5 kg which is termed to be the largest tumour ever operated in the world for Ovarian Cancer.
